It doesn't matter if you are the CEO of a Fortune 500 company or a solo entrepreneur - you have to sell your service or product. It’s how business works!Sales isn't easy. Don't let anyone kid you, very few (and I mean VERY few) people are born sales super heroes. It takes training and maturity.
Over the years I've observed some "Deadly Sins of Sales People" - sounds kind of ugly, and well....it kind of is.
If you or your sales team possess a couple, or all, of these Sales Sins - it might be time for a Sales Intervention!
Here goes...
1. Low self-awareness & responsibility
2. High need for approval
3. Unable to overcome "think it overs"
4. Uncomfortable addressing conflict
5. Can't stay emotionally objective
6. Self-limiting beliefs
7. Unable/Unwilling to change
So how do you fix a Sales Sinner? Well, if they have #7 - you may not be able to fix them, because fixing requires change. The others can be worked through!
Not sure where you or your sales team are struggling...let's have a 10 minute conversation about your Sales Sins and get you moving in the right direction!
Have a great week!
